Qualifications:

BSW or MSW in Community Development, Social Work or a relevant field or equivalent experience

2 years experience working with Black, racialized, marginalized and under-resourced communities

Understanding of Anti-Black Racism and the issues facing diverse Black communities
-
Excellent group facilitation and training skills
-
Experienced self-starter and independent worker

Proven experience in report writing, data collection and documentation of program outcomes

High level of integrity, confidentiality, accountability

Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Ability to jump start and grow programs and services from the ground up

Languages other than English an asset

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office

Clear Criminal reference check and valid CPR/First Aid

Position Title : Fundraising Coordinator

Qualifications: A bachelor degree or a Diploma and/or (2) years experience in fundraising position. The candidate must have Strong oral and written communication skills, a solid proficiency in computers and programs and virtual applications required. VOHRC is currently accepting applications for a Fundraising Coordinator to manager our new fundraising Program. Working with board of directors and staff, the successful candidate will have demonstrated competencies in develop and manage a multi-year fundraising and major gifts plan, which includes strategies, goals/benchmarks, and budget focused on retaining and upgrading existing donors and significantly expanding donors at all levels.
